Samsung foldable owners will soon have more options for repairing their devices, with over 100 Best Buy stores gearing up to offer repairs in “early November,” Samsung announced today. The retailer has long offered authorized repairs for Samsung devices, but previously it only listed Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices as those it will repair.
Expanding its repair options to foldables is important given the ongoing concerns people have about durability, especially when it comes to their internal folding displays. And when it comes to foldables, you’ll almost certainly want to turn to a professional for service. The devices are filled with stuff like tape, glue, and goo, that make successful home repairs very difficult to pull off.
