In Matthew 19: 4-6 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Please read the whole chapter.

I often hear many say that Jesus didn’t teach about marriage and use this to justify a sinful lifestyle. Or, that He didn’t say sex outside of marriage was sin, or whatever they want to justify. The list goes on and on. So yes, Jesus did teach about marriage. We can go much deeper into this topic, however my point of this post is to show you, Jesus did teach about marriage.

Jesus is God, so you don’t tell everyone what marriage is not, you tell them what marriage is. If you want to look through scripture and do a study on fornication and other sexual sins, you will soon find that any sexual act, outside of the confines of marriage is sin, period.

What qualifies a marriage, there must be one ‘man’ and one ‘woman’. Nothing else is considered a marriage in the eyes of God.

Regardless of what you want to believe it doesn’t change a thing, it won’t make a difference. The Words of Jesus are clear.

So does your lifestyle live up to the Words of Jesus, if not that is sin.
