A father has legally changed his gender identification in an attempt to gain custody of his two young daughters alleging that his daughters currently live in an abusive environment with their mother. In Ecuador they see the father as only a “provider” and they typically benefit mothers in custody cases. The courts will now have to decide which “mother” are the children more fit to stay with.
In other news a federal judge says West Virginia’s transgender sport ban is constitutional and the court upholds law excluding male-to-female transgender athletes from girls’ sports.
