“I’d like to see them shot in the head or bring the public in and beat them until they die,” says Limerick county’s first Muslim councillor Abul Kalam Azad Talukder.

Ireland’s Limerick City and County councillor Abul Kalam Azad Talukder is facing backlash for proclaiming that he’d like to see those who rioted in protest of the migrant stabbing in Dublin last week “shot in the head” or beaten to death by mobs.

Talukder, Limerick County’s first Muslim councillor who hails from Bangladesh, made the disturbing remark on Monday during a Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) meeting.

“I strongly believe that this is not the face of Ireland. This is just some criminals looting the shops. I don’t think they follow any ideological purpose. They come to the streets and just rob. They should get punishment,” Talukder declared, according to the Limerick Post.

“Not even an animal does these kind of thing. It is very shameful and they should get public punishment.”

“I’d like to see them shot in the head or bring the public in and beat them until they die,” he told council members.

Fine Gael (Christian-democratic party) councillor Adam Teskey backed Talukder’s comments, saying the “thuggery” displayed during the riots must “be rooted out of society once and for all.”

“The credibility of law enforcement in this country is now called into major question on whether we give society over to these gurriers. This has to be stopped,” Teskey insisted.

“Our Gardaí need the full support of the people of this country, for which the majority, I do believe, reflect their support for them. But something has to change here at the top.”

But Labour Party councillor Conor Sheehan called for an immediate withdrawal of Talukder’s comments and pointed out that “you can’t call for people to be shot in the council chamber.”

Talukder responded, “Okay, I can withdraw that. I just put my emotion only. I hope Conor Sheehan understand’s that is only an expression of my emotion.”

Right, sure it is.

Northern Ireland’s first black councillor Seenoi-Barr made similar remarks on Monday, calling those who protested the migrant stabbing “organized far-right terrorists.”

Councilor Seenoi-Barr in Ireland:

“People are very fearful. They’re terrified of even thinking about walking the street.”

“It is an organized terrorist group.”

“We have to take action now!”

Riots erupted in Dublin last week in response to an Algerian migrant stabbing three children and two women outside of a school.

Mainstream media and Irish authorities blamed the riots on a “complete lunatic hooligan faction driven by far-right ideology.”

Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar vowed to crack down on “hate speech” in response to the riots, which seemingly includes criminalizing the possession of politically incorrect memes on phones or computers.

“We will pass new laws in the coming weeks to enable the gardaí to make better use of the CCTV evidence they collected yesterday,” Varadkar said. “We will modernize our laws against incitement to hatred and hatred in general.”

The Irish police force, known as the Gardai, are now investigating MMA fighter McGregor for “online hate speech” over his criticism of Ireland’s leaders and their open-border policy for migrants.

Innocent children ruthlessly stabbed by a mentally deranged non-national in Dublin, Ireland today. Our chief of police had this to say on the riots in the aftermath. Drew, not good enough. There is grave danger among us in Ireland that should never be here in the first place, and… https://t.co/ac6j1GIjXD
