Fox News never publicly explained Carlson’s departure from the network.
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld revealed that Tucker Carlson was kicked off the network by special interest groups “in cahoots” with political allies.
Gutfeld made the admission on his show Friday night while discussing Elon Musk’s expletive to advertisers attempting to blackmail him by pulling ad spending from X for supporting free speech.
“That’s like extorting Jerry Nadler with salad, or blackmailing sports fans by threatening to cancel PBS,” Gutfeld joked.

He said Musk was the only prominent figure standing up against “the censorship-industrial complex, which is made up of government, media and tech forces.”
“He realizes that advertisers have no spine and can be easily cowed by special interest groups in cahoots with political allies – if you don’t believe me I got two words for ya – Tucker Carlson,” Gutfeld added to audible gasps.
Fox News has never publicly explained its reason for firing Carlson in April, who was the network’s #1 primetime anchor, but many believe an upcoming exposé he had about January 6 was the final straw, along with his vehement opposition to the Ukraine war.
