Group stole items from store and punched security who tried to stop theft, according to police
One of the illegal aliens who infamously attacked an NYPD officer a few weeks ago was just arrested again, this time for allegedly robbing a Macy’s store and assaulting the security guard on shift.
19-year-old Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel was part of the group of illegals who recently attacked an officer in Times Square only to be let loose without paying bail.
The crew gave news cameras the middle finger as they walked away from jail after the original assault.
Now, the teen criminal is accused of helping another group rob a Macy’s in the Queens Center Mall and attack its security guard on Tuesday.
NYPD Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry wrote about the incident on 𝕏, noting, “One of the migrants who assaulted our officers last week in Times Square is back at it again. This time he was part of a group that robbed a department store in Queens. They also assaulted an employee. Different borough, different crime — same disregard for the law. This is the last thing NYers need. Hey Darwin, we see you — and you will be in handcuffs once again very soon.”
While Darwin was arrested on Tuesday night, Daughtry’s remark about him being in handcuffs again soon insinuates he was once again released thanks to the city’s atrocious no-bail policy.
