Police in St. Petersburg, Florida, are actively searching for a driver who did donuts on an LGBT “pride” mural painted on a downtown street.
The incident took place around 2:30 am on Wednesday morning, with security footage showing the vehicle burning rubber on the rainbow-colored road.

A local news report explained the driver faces a criminal mischief felony if caught.
Another news segment talked with a gay bartender working at a nearby bar called, “Ride ‘Em Cowboy,” who claimed “there’s people obviously out to get” people who “are part of the LGBTQ.”

The vandalism comes just about a week ahead of the LGBT’s “Pride” Month.
