According to the Associated Press, six police officers were injured during clashes with the angry demonstrators who tore down poles to use as weapons and threw objects at the cops.

The protest was launched in response to a Sunday Israeli attack on a refugee camp near Rafah that reportedly killed 45 people, according to Palestine’s numbers.
