NBC mod had to shut it down!
GOP voters broke out in chants of “Trump!” at the RNC Debate hosted by NBC News in Miami Wednesday night, despite the former president not being among the GOP nominees who stood on stage.
Footage captured by an audience member shows the moment the crowd repeatedly shouted, “Trump!” in unison, prompting producers to chastise the audience and ask them to stop.
“OK so, that was awesome guys,” an NBC producer told the crowd, adding, “But that’s the last time we’re going to do that, right?”
“Because we really really really want to hear from these candidates and they worked really hard for us tonight, OK?”
The incident came as Trump, the GOP frontrunner, was the only remaining Republican presidential candidate not to attend the debate, instead opting to hold a rally in Hialeah, Florida.
In other news from the debate, candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was the breakout star of the night when he went into Alex Jones-mode calling out RNC chair Ronna McDaniel for failing to unite the fractured GOP, while also knocking NBC News moderators for promoting the fake Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
