Footage inadvertently proves why women shouldn’t work in law enforcement.

Footage out of Dubai shows women from Chile’s highest-tier police task force attempting to compete in the 2024 UAE SWAT Challenge, where they embarrassingly struggled to complete the first obstacle.

The Challenge is intended to showcase the “world’s elite” security forces from over 70 countries, however footage going viral on social media features the women from the Chilean PDI (Investigations Police of Chile) botching the event within moments.

It all goes downhill as soon as they reach the first course challenge, a zip-line water obstacle where the women stop midway, with some falling into the water as they try to writhe their way up to a distant platform.

After about six minutes, the women eventually make it across, but it makes for a very entertaining video.

For comparison, here’s Rwanda’s male SWAT task force:

“The UAE SWAT Challenge, hosted by Dubai Police, is your opportunity to showcase your skills on an international stage,” reads the event’s website.

“Step into an arena where tactical brilliance, precision, and teamwork are tested and celebrated.”

Ahead of the event, the “trailblazing” Chilean team expressed excitement according to Gulf News, with the team leader saying, “We are thrilled to participate in this international tactical teams competition and are grateful to Dubai Police for inviting us to be a part of this global event.”

The Chilean team was among five all-female squads participating in the event, alongside teams from Abu Dhabi, Belarus, Thailand, and Dubai.

The footage inadvertently proves why women have no place being in law enforcement.
