Anti-Putin social media accounts rushing to assume deadly shooting staged by Russia

Within hours of Friday’s deadly terrorist shooting at a Moscow concert hall and shopping mall, hundreds of social media users and anti-Russia media pundits went online to claim Putin had planned the assault as a false flag.

Many people cited the 1999 apartment bombings in Russia as a historical example of a Russian false flag, alleging he had the buildings destroyed to blame on Chechnya.

A week after Putin’s fake election he gets a “terror attack” in Moscow.

If you dont know how Putin’s brain works, just Google “1999 apartment bombings” to see how he blew up huge alartnrnt blocks, killing hundreds, then blamed on Chechnya to then invade.

This will be blamed on… pic.twitter.com/Gf54C7oVIp

Th russian media report that the terror attack in Moscow resulted in at least 40 dead and 100 wounded. I wouldn’t be surprised that this “terror attack” was orchestrated by Putin to blame Ukrainians. This exact strategy was used in the past to justify invasion of Chechnya. pic.twitter.com/t9rYDxDQMo

This is so putin

to have “terrorists” attacking his own people in Moscow
right after his sham “elections”

so 1999 apartment bombing (was russia’s “reason” to bomb Chechnya) – and so Nord-Ost

Just wait and see how he’s gonna (surprise!) blame Ukraine

while it’s his doing pic.twitter.com/bltmyecTRM

Putin’s playbook is familiar: Recall Nord-Ost in 2002? Blowing up houses, shooting at concert halls to fuel military actions in Chechnya. It’s a tactic to mobilize support for war. Putin bears responsibility for the attack in Crocus City Hall. pic.twitter.com/QU4t5OCsRm

Oh no. Here we go again. Chechnya all over again? The Chechens have committed massive attacks before

A concert hall attacked in Moscow, shooting in the concert itself, and a huge fire in the mall. Very likely a Kremlin false flag operation in order to boost mobilisation and explain more strikes on Ukraine’s civil population.pic.twitter.com/owjdd6JTMU

Ukrainian intelligence have already called the attack in Moscow a “deliberate provocation by the Putin regime”.

Before the bullets stopped flying, Ukraine already claimed that it’s a false flag. I have a feeling Putin feels differently.

Regardless, it’s about to get ugly. pic.twitter.com/zbr8Zsp7CQ

Hundreds of Russians are now trapped, burning in the Crokus City Hall in Moscow after Putin’s false flag.

Will Russians fall for it again?

While it’s possible the Kremlin planned or allowed the attack to gain domestic support and to escalate the war in Ukraine, the timing is odd as Russia is winning the war and Putin was just re-elected in a landslide election.

Also, the Biden administration and the U.S. Embassy in Russia both recently warned there was an increased possibility of a terror attack taking place in the country.

The embassy even specifically said “concerts” were targets.

It’s too early to know who was behind the deadly tragedy, but current global tensions are sure to increase in the aftermath.
