“They have figured out how to bring us down. As long as you stay away from the teeth of the US military, you can pick the US apart,” intelligence source reportedly claims.
Intelligence sources believe the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse by a wayward shipping barge on Tuesday was a sophisticated “financial and economic attack” and not an unfortunate accident, journalist Lara Logan reported.
“We’re in an undeclared war right now. And these are not my words. I’m not making this up. This is coming from people who really know and who ordinarily wouldn’t talk to me,” she said on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” Tuesday.

“This is what you call death by a thousand cuts. It’s an absolutely catastrophic impact on critical infrastructure and you cannot see it because a cyberattack is unseen, just like the attack on 2020 on the voting machines that you cannot see,” she added.
Logan elaborated on her reporting in a lengthy X post, claiming her sources believe the bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” using “cyber” methods.
“Multiple intel sources: Baltimore bridge collapse was an ‘absolutely brilliant strategic attack’ on US critical infrastructure – most likely cyber – & our intel agencies know it. In information warfare terms, they just divided the US along the Mason Dixon line exactly like the Civil War,” she wrote.

“Second busiest strategic roadway in the nation for hazardous material now down for 4-5 years – which is how long they say it will take to recover,” she continued. “Bridge was built specifically to move hazardous material – fuel, diesel, propane gas, nitrogen, highly flammable materials, chemicals and oversized cargo that cannot fit in the tunnels – that supply chain now crippled.
“Make no mistake: this was an extraordinary attack in terms of planning, timing & execution,” Logan added.
An intelligence source reportedly told her: “They have figured out how to bring us down. As long as you stay away from the teeth of the US military, you can pick the US apart. We are arrogant and ignorant – lethal combination. Obama said they would fundamentally change America and they did. We are in a free-fall ride on a roller coaster right now – no brakes – just picking up speed.”
Though the platform’s Community Notes feature attempted to portray Logan’s reporting as fake news, it does not take into account Logan’s citing of intelligence sources.
Former Army infantry soldier who goes by “Clandestine” had a different take, claiming available evidence doesn’t appear to corroborate Logan’s reporting.
“This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t see anything that would indicate the tragedy in Baltimore was some sort of terror attack,” he wrote on X, adding he’d be open to amending his conclusion “if more information that comes out shows differently.”

Strategically, what would it accomplish?
If they wanted to terrorize the US, they would have picked a different bridge, at a busier time.… pic.twitter.com/j9xi2LBDMh

But Logan doubled down on her reporting, arguing his analysis is “100% wrong.”
Former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn supported the merits of Logan’s reporting, highlighting recent warnings by FBI Director Christopher Wray that cyberattacks threaten critical U.S. infrastructure.
The Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray said as much during fairly recent congressional testimony when it comes to cyber threats against our critical infrastructure. Look it up!@laralogan https://t.co/Ad1dVFnK2N

Less than 24 hours after the incident, FBI insisted in a statement that it found no evidence of terrorism linked to the Baltimore bridge collapse, but given its storied history of serial lying to the American people, many people don’t trust their conclusion.
I always believe the opposite of what the FBI says – because all they do is lie. https://t.co/w6306O5eY7
