‘This cycle, it is skewed wildly in Donald Trump’s direction,’ Scarborough said of NYT polling.
MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough had an on-air freakout over the New York Times releasing polls that show Donald Trump is kicking Joe Biden’s butt in battleground states.
NBC News and MSNBC analyst John Heilemann asked Scarborough about the recent NYT polls showing Trump trouncing Biden.
The “Morning Joe” host immediately put down the NYT poll and suggested it was “wildly off.”
Continuing to rant against the NYT polling system, Scarborough said, “This year, this cycle, it is skewed wildly in Donald Trump’s direction. And, the New York Times feasts on it with clickbait stories like a dozen at a time.”
When Heilemann tried to speak, Scarborough repeatedly cut him off, blurting, “Hold on!” and saying, “The New York Times right now is actively shaping the election cycles where this poll comes out on a Sunday, and on Monday people go, ‘Oh.’ And, I heard it. And, I’m sitting there going, ‘don’t be so stupid.’”
Again rudely cutting off Heilemann, Scarborough next said, “No, no, no, no! Hold on. What I hear after these polls come out is, ‘Oh, well everything that Joe Biden’s done since the State of the Union Address. All of this money that he’s put up, all of the campaigning it’s for not.’ No, it’s not!”
It’s laughable to think the New York Times is a pro-Trump outlet, but the unhinged talking head had to vent his frustration that Trump is dominating Biden in the polls.
