Such prosecutions have a “disproportionate effect on black and brown communities”, the Soros-funded DA said

Chicago District Attorney Kim Foxx has introduced a draft policy that will see prosecutions as a result of traffic stops drastically reduced, in a bid to reduce the “disproportionate impact on black and brown communities.”

Routine traffic stops, including stops where illegal weapons, drugs and stolen property are found, will not be prosecuted.

“Doing these searches—again, searches that have a disproportionate impact on black and brown communities—that don’t have a net safety benefit, we should not do that,” Foxx said in an interview with a local Chicago news station.

Under the new policy, traffic stops for routine minor infractions would not be allowed, and the district attorney’s office would “decline to prosecute” any cases that are “solely the product of a non-public-safety traffic stop,” even if illegal weapons, drugs or stolen property are discovered during the course of the stop.

Foxx is well known for her radical leftist policies as Chicago DA, and for her dismissal of charges against former Empire actor Jussie Smollett, who was later convicted of staging a false hate-crime against himself with two Nigerian bodybuilders. Foxx is one of the most high-profile Soros-funded appointments to prosecutorial office. In 2016, Soros contributed $300,000 to her first successful campaign for district attorney, and a subsequent $2 million to ensure her re-election.

Soros has been behind the appointment of some of the most controversial prosecutors in America today, including George Gascon in Los Angeles, Larry Krasner in Philadelphia and Alvin Bragg in Manhatten.

“Everywhere Soros-backed prosecutors go, crime follows,” said Senator Tom Cotton, in 2021

“These legal arsonists have abandoned their duty to public safety by pursuing leniency even for the most heinous crime, and they often flat-out refuse to charge criminals for shoplifting, vagrancy and entire categories of misdemeanors.”
