Cuomo made the startling admission shortly after The New York Times this week finally acknowledged devastating COVID vaccine injuries in thousands of Americans.
Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo revealed on Friday that he’s been suffering from COVID-19 vaccine side effects.
Cuomo made the admission while covering the New York Times finally acknowledging that thousands of people were injured by the COVID vaccine, including brain damage and other “serious” and “life-changing” reactions.
“We know that vaccines can have unintended consequences, aka side effects. But nobody is really talking about it because they’re too afraid of blame and they just want it to go away,” Cuomo said on News Nation.

Just before bringing on a nurse practitioner who was injured by the COVID vaccine, Cuomo admitted he himself is still suffering from COVID vaccine side effects.
“But the problem is, people like Sean, and me, and millions of others who still have weird stuff with their blood work and their lives and their feelings — physically — are not going away,” Cuomo said.
Cuomo then brought on Nurse Practitioner Sean Barcavage, who explained how he was dismissed by his own medical colleagues when he tried asking for help after suffering debilitating COVID vaccine side effects.
“I thought that all my pro-vaccine colleagues that championed me on would be there to lift me up and help me, and in fact, they’re the ones who turned around and dismissed, denied and tried to censor and bury me,” Barcavage said.
“They’re afraid that by showing my face, I’ll drive vaccine hesitancy. But what they don’t realize is what I have come to realize, is that the censorship and the hiding of it is actually fueling vaccine hesitancy.”
“If the government had just said, ‘Hey, these are novel vaccines. There will be reactions, let’s just have a program in place to deal with them. Set up a fun, obligate the manufacturers to provide help or research.’ I think the citizens would have appreciated that. But instead what happened is they just suppressed me, and that also shocked me.”
Cuomo then offered to share his doctors’ information with Barcavage since he is also suffering from a COVID vaccine injury.
“I’m working with people who are working on this. So I’ll make sure that we’re in touch right after the show and I’ll help any way I can,” Cuomo told him.
“I’ll hook you up with my clinician and maybe you can share different protocols and things that may help. But I will never stop reporting on this. And all I’m doing is just beating the drum of you need to have a 9/11-style commission to figure out what worked and what didn’t and what questions need to be answered because it’s not over.”
“So not only are we not set up for the next pandemic — and there will be one — but we’re not treating people, millions of people, who still have problems from the last one,” he added.
Cuomo’s latest remarks represent a dramatic shift from his tone during the height of the vaccine rollout in 2021, when he blasted “vaccine hesitancy.”
“I’m telling you, this vaccine hesitancy, sure there’s a little bit of a personal freedom thing, people don’t want to be told what to do. Somebody made people think that the vaccine is a personal choice issue,” Cuomo had said.
“Because it doesn’t naturally occur that way, brother. Because we get our kids vaccinated: mumps, rubella, polio, smallpox. We all do it. That’s all this is.”
“But all of a sudden, it’s a big deal. Somebody put an idea of that in their heads. Or somebodies, a group of people. We are not who we were after 9/11. This pandemic has proven that. We are weak people, and we are making hard times for ourselves,” he added.
Over 13,000 formal complaints about adverse reactions to the COVID shots have been filed since 2021 — but only 19% have been reviewed, the New York Times finally acknowledged on Friday.
Dr. Janet Woodcock, who headed the FDA from January 2021 through February 2022, a crucial period when the COVID jab was being rolled out, told the Times that she wished government officials would just listen to vaccine-injured individuals.
“I feel bad for those people. I believe their suffering should be acknowledged, that they have real problems, and they should be taken seriously,” she said.
“I’m disappointed in myself. I did a lot of things I feel very good about, but this is one of the few things I feel I just didn’t bring it home.”
Too bad the FDA, HHS, NIH and CDC were too busy coordinating with Big Tech to censor vaccine criticisms rather than taking legitimate vaccine injury complaints seriously.
